Mind you all the music here has a "classical" origin. Where as american music wasn't. Europe and other nations of the area embraced classical while America tried to be something new. Tho trying to be something new isn't wrong.
Personally I hate communism because it imposes more laws and control on the mass of the public. Sure right now american government isn't that great but it used to be.
I'll just shuttup now. Not speaking to offend anyone in game just speaking my personal "opinion".

Mind you all the music here has a "classical" origin. Where as american music wasn't. Europe and other nations of the area embraced classical while America tried to be something new. Tho trying to be something new isn't wrong. I'll be honest; I didn't listen to the two vids posted by Obongo. But I was taught that all cultures (or Western at least, meaning Europe and America) from the early medieval period and on, concurrently developed two main genres of music -- folk and classical, or high and low culture music. Not saying that one type of music is better or worse, it's just terminology. For the most part, classical music was more renown, their composers, orchestras, and music having a wider audience throughout the continent. Folk music at the same time was played throughout the continent and was the music you'd hear bards play in taverns, etc. But because there wasn't mass media yet, styles of folk music stayed local. Classical music certainly crossed the Atlantic to the Americas. And folk music certainly sprung up locally in America too. Ragtime, African folk, mish mash mix max, jazz, gospel, rock and roll, and other pop music can all be considered America's folk music. It just seems much more prevalent these days because of mass media. But all during this time, there were American classical composers too. It's just that classical music has a more niche audience now. I might be wrong with all of this, just spouting things I heard a while ago.
